Apple iPad G-Form Extreme Sleeve Bowling Ball Test Video

Now lets be honest here most gear in the mobile technology world is prone to being fragile, and the main reason why people use protective cases for their smartphones and tablets so they don’t get scratched or damaged.
However not all cases save your device from a drop or something heavy falling on it, but if you own an Apple iPad there is a case that seems to be quite tough, tough enough to withstand the weight of a bowling ball being dropped on it.
Thus we have for your viewing consideration today the G-Form Extreme Sleeve for the Apple iPad bowling ball drop test video courtesy of the guys over at Ubergizmo and by way of 9to5 Mac that shows what happens if you drop an 8 pound bowling ball onto your G-Form Extreme sleeve protected iOS tablet.
The G-Form Extreme Sleeve of iPad is apparently constructed in PORON XRD, which means if your iPad is protected by the sleeve it’s in safe hands, so check out the video footage below to see just how safe it is.
The G-Form Extreme Sleeve for the Apple iPad is scheduled for release on the 1st of May and commands a price tag of $59.95 and is available for pre-order as of right now, and basically puts the Apple Smart Cover to shame…enjoy.

Apple iPad 2 Smart Cover Can Work On Original iOS Tablet: Video

So if you own an original Apple iPad and are somewhat envious of the new Apple iPad 2 magnetic Smart Cover, don’t fret too much because apparently there is an easy way to hack the Apple Smart Cover to work with the original iOS tablet, well kind of.
And the modification of the Smart Cover to fit the iPad 1 has now been placed on video, which we have for your consideration below courtesy of the guys over at TiPb and by way of TUAW, and Macstories.
Apparently blogger Dan Provost of The Russians Used a Pencil, found out that if you glue a couple of small magnets to the spine of your beloved Apple iPad and works rather well including the two Smart Cover stand functions, but alas not the on/off function obviously.
Still, one does have to say it’s a neat trick to kind of customise the new Apple iPad 2 Smart Cover so you can take kind of advantage of it for the original iPad. Make the jump and hit the play button to check out how well the modification works…enjoy, and of course if anyone cares to try this out feel free to let us know how it goes.

Apple iPad 2 LCD Defect?

Have you bought iPad 2? Many people said that iPad 2 is amazing gadget from Apple. FYI according to some of the “lucky” few, it looks as if some of the Pad’s are bleeding light through the outer edges of the LCD panel. The display honestly looks pinched and if you push on the right hand side you will see the bleed gets worse with your finger on it. Try it! Another problem found was the yellow dots are visible on the LCD screen, much like a problem on the iPhone 4. This problem will disappear by itself soon after the adhesive agent used for the LCD glass began to evaporate. Check the video after the break.

Apple iPad 2 Sits Nice In Car Dashboard: Video

Now that the new Apple iPad 2

is out and about why not slap your iOS tablet into the dashboard of your car to replace your car audio system whilst adding a little vehicle navigation system as seen in the video we have for your viewing pleasure below.
The video footage comes our way courtesy of TiPb

 and by way of TUAW

and the SoundManCarAudio

YouTube page and delivers just over eight minutes of showing how to install the Apple iPad 2 into the dash of a Ford F150.
In the footage the guys strip out the central console and reconstruct it to house the Apple iPad 2 quite nicely. Of course if you don’t have the knowledge these guys have then it isn’t advisable you go chopping at your own car dashboard to fit your iOS

tablet yourself.
Having said that it just goes to show with a little knowledge and determination you can do just about anything you want with the Apple iPad 2, so with that said hit up the video, punch that play button and check out the modification in action…enjoy.

Video taken with the iPad 2 appears online

Video taken with the iPad 2 appears online
An Italian Apple blog has taken short video with the iPad 2 while examining it after the unveiling presentation in London, and has emailed it to themselves to post online.

The quality is not bad, considering the dim lighting, but the video has been compressed in half to send via email and then quality further diminished after uploading to YouTube.

The image exhibits the typical for Apple high contrast, which people like in their mobile device cameras, but the white balance and exposure adjustments make the shot go from yellow tint to the real color every few seconds or so, almost similar to the yellowish tint we observe in some iPhone 4's indoor shots.

We'll know in two days what the HD 720p video outside looks like, although it's not very likely that you'll use the 1MP or so rear camera in that setting with a tablet.
